About Bio Agriculture Development Project

Rooted in the Earth,
Growing for Generations

Bio Agriculture Development Project Pvt. Ltd. connects certified organic farms across Nepal with families who care deeply about the food on their table. Every product is traceable, sustainably grown, and delivered with care.

Company Introduction

Farm-to-Table, Reimagined for Modern Families

Bio Agriculture Development Project Pvt. Ltd. was founded on a simple belief: that every family deserves access to truly fresh, certified organic food — without compromise. Based in Kathmandu, Nepal, we have built a network of over 120 partner farms spanning the Terai plains, mid-hill valleys, and highland terraces, each adhering to strict organic certification standards.

Our integrated supply chain handles everything from soil monitoring and harvest scheduling to cold-chain logistics and same-day delivery. We eliminate the middlemen who dilute quality and inflate cost, creating a direct bridge between the farmers who grow your food and the kitchen where you prepare it.

Our Story

A Family’s Commitment to Organic Living

Bio Agriculture Development Project Pvt. Ltd. was established by Mr. Suresh Ojha following his distinguished retirement from government service, driven by a vision to promote sustainable, chemical-free, and environmentally responsible agriculture in Nepal. The company operates its organic farm at Palungtar Municipality–6, Gorkha District, Gandaki Province, where traditional farming practices are combined with modern management to produce safe, nutritious, and high-quality agricultural products.

The farm is managed with dedication by Mr. Suresh Ojha and his wife, Mrs. Sangita Ojha, whose shared commitment to organic farming has transformed their vision into a thriving family enterprise. They are actively supported by their son and daughter-in-law, making the farm a true family-led initiative devoted to healthy food production and rural agricultural development.

One of the farm’s primary activities is the production of premium-quality eggs from indigenous Sakini chickens, which are raised under a free-range system within a securely enclosed area of approximately 54,760 square feet. This natural rearing environment promotes the birds’ welfare while ensuring nutritious, flavorful, and chemical-free eggs for consumers.

In addition to poultry farming, the project cultivates maize primarily for on-farm feed production and grows a variety of valuable medicinal and culinary crops, including ginger, garlic, and other locally suitable herbs. The farm also raises four indigenous hill cows, which provide fresh milk for household use and nutrient-rich organic manure that enhances soil fertility and supports sustainable crop cultivation without reliance on synthetic fertilizers.

At Bio Agriculture Development Project Pvt. Ltd., we firmly believe that healthy soil produces healthy crops, healthy livestock, and ultimately healthy people. Every aspect of our farming practice is guided by principles of sustainability, biodiversity, animal welfare, and environmental conservation.

Our long-term vision is to build a trusted bridge between rural organic producers and urban families seeking genuine, safe, and naturally produced food. We aspire to expand the availability of authentic organic products while empowering local agriculture and contributing to Nepal’s food security and environmental sustainability.

We warmly invite families, institutions, health-conscious consumers, and well-wishers to become part of this meaningful journey. By choosing products from Bio Agriculture Development Project Pvt. Ltd., you are not only investing in the health and well-being of your family but also supporting Nepalese farmers, protecting the environment, and encouraging sustainable agriculture for future generations.

Healthy Farms. Healthy Families. Healthy Nepal.

Mission & Vision

Where We’re Headed

Our Mission

To make certified organic food accessible, affordable, and convenient for every family in Nepal — while ensuring that the farmers who grow it earn a fair and dignified livelihood.

Our Vision

A Nepal where every acre of farmland is cultivated sustainably, every harvest is chemical-free, and every consumer can trace their food from seed to plate with complete confidence.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Integrity

We never label conventional produce as organic. Every product in our store carries verifiable certification, and our testing records are open to public audit.

Community

Farmers are not our vendors — they are our partners. We invest in training, infrastructure, and fair pricing that keeps rural communities thriving for the long term.

Sustainability

From biodegradable packaging to solar-powered cold storage, every operational decision is evaluated against its environmental footprint before it is implemented.

Our Organic Promise

100% Certified, Zero Exceptions

Every product on our shelves meets or exceeds Nepal’s National Organic Standard and aligns with international IFOAM guidelines. We run quarterly soil tests, annual water-quality audits, and random residue screenings across our entire farm network.

Our in-house quality assurance team includes certified agronomists, food safety specialists, and an independent advisory board. If a product ever fails a test, it never reaches your cart. Period.

Growing Responsibly, Every Step

Sustainability is not a marketing badge — it is the foundation of every decision we make, from the seed varieties we recommend to the delivery routes we plan.

Water Conservation

Drip irrigation systems across 85% of partner farms reduce water consumption by up to 60% compared to flood irrigation.

Zero-Waste Packaging

All our delivery packaging is biodegradable or compostable. We have eliminated single-use plastic from our entire supply chain.

Carbon Footprint

Solar-powered cold storage and optimised delivery routes have cut our logistics emissions by 35% since 2021.

Soil Regeneration

We fund composting programmes and cover-crop research that rebuild organic matter and biodiversity in depleted soils.
